The Phalaenopsis has vibrant flower colors, resembling brilliant flames from a distance. It is a highly ornamental type of tropical rare orchid in the Orchidaceae family and is currently very popular abroad. There are 15 species in this genus, distributed from Southeast Asia to the Himalayas, with some also found in southern China.
The Phalaenopsis is epiphytic on trees, with inflorescences emerging from the leaf axils, bearing over a dozen or even dozens of flowers. The flowers have vibrant colors and numerous petals, resembling flames in a distance, making them highly ornamental.
