Introduction to Flowering Pachira Plant

Pachira is a small tree, 4-5 meters tall, flowering from May to November, fruits mature successively, and seeds germinate naturally after falling to the ground. The unripe fruit peel is edible, and the seeds can be stir-fried. It prefers high temperatures, humidity, and plenty of sunlight, is not cold-resistant, afraid of direct strong sunlight, somewhat shade-tolerant, has a certain drought resistance, and grows best in fertile, loose loamy soil. It is耐修剪, and the winter temperature should not be below 10°C. Propagation is commonly done by cutting, preferably during the plum rain season. The plant has an attractive shape, with stems and leaves remaining green throughout the year, and is currently a very popular indoor foliage plant. The seedlings have soft branches, are tolerant to pruning, and can be processed into various artistic shapes for stakes and potted landscapes. In the south, it is often used as a street tree and ornamental tree.
