1. Cutting Time

2. Cutting Treatment
In spring, cuttings should be selected from branches of the previous year, while in autumn, cuttings should be selected from the current year's branches. Semi-woody branches are best for cuttings, as very old or very young branches are not easy to survive. The selected branches should be cut to 12-15 cm in length, leaving 2 leaves, and the rest should be cut off. After cutting, dip the branches in boiling water to stop the white sap from flowing out.
3. Cutting Propagation
Find a wide-mouth glass bottle, fill it with water, and insert the cutting into the water, with the water covering one-third of the cutting. Change the water every 3 days before the cutting takes root, which usually takes about 10 days. After roots appear, change the water every day. When the rootlets grow to 4-6 mm, transfer them to a river sand substrate to continue growing, with a planting depth of about 9-10 cm. After watering sufficiently, cover with a film.
4. Planting
After cultivating the cutting in the river sand substrate for half a month, prepare a flower pot and fill it with loose, fertile soil. Then plant the cutting in the flower pot. If the cutting has axillary buds, leave 2 and remove the rest. Water lightly after planting, and after two weeks, the cutting will take root. Once new leaves appear, normal maintenance can continue.
