Camellia planting techniques have three points: large flowers, long blooming period, and the colder it is, the more it blooms.
1. When the camellia potted plant is first brought home, place it in a semi-shaded, well-ventilated area, and let it adapt for about a week. Do not place it in direct sunlight, as this will make its leaves wilt and look unhealthy.
2. If you are just starting to take care of it, do not rush to prune the roots or change the pot and soil. Plant it in a slightly larger pot with the original soil, prepare some decomposed leaf soil, river sand garden soil, some slow-release fertilizer, and some granular soil, or peat soil mixed with others is also fine. Place some organic fertilizer at the bottom of the pot as a base fertilizer.

3. When growing camellias in winter, if you want them to bloom earlier, you can place them on the indoor balcony where the temperature is higher, and they will bloom earlier. If the indoor temperature reaches 20 degrees, their blooming period will be ahead, very beautiful, continuously blooming. However, when caring for them indoors, first, there must be sufficient sunlight, and secondly, a certain level of humidity must be maintained. If the air is dry and the humidity is insufficient, their flower buds may dry up.
