Neohenricia sibbettii, belonging to the Aizoaceae family, is native to South Africa. The plant consists of short, fleshy leaves arranged in opposite pairs, with a leaf height of 1cm and a base that is united. Young plants are solitary, while old plants grow densely and the plants easily form clusters. The short, club-shaped fleshy leaves have dense granular bumps at the tip, and the leaf color is light grass green, turning to brick red under strong sunlight. Flowers emerge from the gap between two leaves, with light yellow petals that have a hint of purple at the tip. These night-blooming flowers open after sunset and close before sunrise. Generally, each plant blooms only one flower, and when the plants are in clusters, the blooming is spectacular. The flowers of Neohenricia sibbettii are very fragrant and smell intoxicating.
