The name "Zhaobo" originates from Japan. In China, it usually blooms at 2 PM (around 3 PM in Japan, also known as "Three O'Clock Grass"). It loves light and can be placed outdoors all year round. It can survive at temperatures above 0 degrees Celsius in winter, is easy to manage and cultivate, grows rapidly, and can fill a pot in one summer. Last year, due to the long winter in Shanghai and my own laziness in taking care of them, they survived in temperatures as low as -5 degrees Celsius, with only two small plants surviving from a once full pot. Having endured the severe cold, the flowers are huge and the color is purer.
