The plant is small and has a short greenish-brown stem. The leaves are mostly oblate, with the lower part almost cylindrical, and the middle and upper parts slightly wider and flattened. The leaf length is 2.5-5 cm, and the width is 1-2.5 cm. The leaf tips have wavy wrinkles on the edges, and the leaf surface is covered with fleshy villi, keeping the leaves a perennial green color. The inflorescence is 25 cm tall, with a cylindrical flower tube that is 1 cm long, green on top, and purple on the bottom. The corolla has 5 lobes, with white edges and is pollinated by cross-pollination.
