The leaves are thin and leathery, narrow-lanceolate or linear-lanceolate; the flowers are solitary in the leaf axils or at the top of young branches, fragrant, with white corolla in the shape of a high-footed dish; the fruit is oblong, with longitudinal ridges or sometimes the ridges are not distinct, maturing to yellow or orange-red. It is produced in Anhui, Zhejiang, Guangdong, Guangxi, and Hainan, and is also found in Vietnam.
