Medusa is a succulent plant of the Cactus Genus Astrophytum. The Medusa plant grows independently, with a few clustering, and the plant is composed of multiple branches of varying lengths. The leaves have evolved into a branch-like shape, about 5 to 15 centimeters long and 3 to 5 millimeters thick, with the branches covered in villous substances, similar to the appearance of Euphorbia. Medusa is a small variety with a huge turnip-shaped tuberous root. The flowers of Medusa bloom on the top of the leaf-like branches, with funnel-shaped flowers in light yellow. The diameter of the flowers is about 5-6 centimeters, which is considered a larger flower type in the genus Astrophytum. The flowering period is every summer, exuding a faint fragrance that is particularly elegant and enchanting, and cross-pollination.
