1. Choose strong branches

2. Soak the branches

At home, you can soak the branches by mixing vinegar and water in a 1:100 ratio. However, soaking the branches is a necessary step in the propagation process!

3. Choose the right soil
When choosing soil, we should select loose and nutritious soil, and simple and nutritious soil is not suitable for rose propagation. To prevent soil compaction, we should add some decomposed leaf soil and river sand to the soil, and mix in a small amount of perlite to increase the soil's permeability and keep the plant well-ventilated!
4. Propagate
First, place the selected soil in the flowerpot, then insert the previously chosen branches into the soil. On the surface of the soil, you can add a layer of perlite about 1cm thick. Then start watering, making sure to thoroughly wet the soil during the first watering. After that, move the potted plant to a place with scattered light and let it sit for 5 days. After five days, you will see new sprouts on the propagated branches.
5. Post-propagation care
The appearance of new sprouts on the branches does not mean that the propagation is over. We still need to care for them carefully in the later stages. Do not expose the propagated branches to direct sunlight, as it is harmful to roses, and do not move the potted plant randomly.
