Different Chinese rose varieties have different requirements for cultivation techniques. For新手 rose growers, it is recommended that you grow some classic varieties, such as Tianfang Yatan, Monet, and Princess Kent. Try not to choose those demanding and novel varieties.
For example, some novel varieties with unique flower shapes and colors, or white cut flower varieties, often have poor disease resistance and vigor, which are easy to kill for新手 as they are inherently delicate.
