The single枝 beauty of Chinese roses often occurs because, during the cultivation process, the roses produce strong suckers, and we, rose lovers, do not handle the suckers properly, allowing them to grow and bloom, which ultimately results in a single枝 beauty.
If it's an upright variety of Chinese rose, it often grows straight up, while灌木 (shrub) varieties with obvious shapes are more likely to grow斜着 (obliquely), with the whole branch leaning to one side.

Method:
Taking advantage of the winter potting change, first, prune the Chinese rose heavily. When replanting, plant the rose obliquely, making the originally upright branch grow斜着 (obliquely) or horizontally to break the apical dominance of the Chinese rose, forcing nutrients to flow back to the basal buds, promoting the germination of these buds.
Once the basal buds of the Chinese rose germinate, they will grow into strong new branches. After new branches appear, you can pinch the tips in time to adjust the plant shape, making the plant look full.
